Atlanta-based lifestyle writer sharing reflections on everyday life.
I’ve always seen myself as someone who isn’t particularly good at anything. Maybe you can relate. I have no musical talent, no artistic skill, and no athletic ability. I don’t have anything to show for—at least nothing tangible. And quite frankly, the world tends to value what is tangible.
However, over the years, I have discovered that I enjoy meaningful conversations. I enjoy listening intently to the words spoken by others, and I enjoy offering thoughtful—and hopefully helpful—counsel. Little did I know, my talent may have been more interpersonal—something not obvious to others unless they’ve had a personal encounter with me: my mind, my heart, my ears, and my words.
This space is an attempt to explore more of who I am by sharing the plethora of things that roam through my mind on the daily. Most thoughts are passing, but some thoughts I brew in it—some longer than others—and from them, a beautiful insight or a nugget of wisdom is birthed. In those moments, I feel immediate excitement and joy, and often find myself chuckling (hehe). From simple stories to deeper reflections to practical tips, everything is naturally interwoven as I live my life in real-time.
My hope is that you would walk away enlightened, helped, or inspired.. or all of the above!
A little more about me
I’m married to my fun-loving husband, and we have one precious boy who has been the apple of our eye since day one (even from the womb). I’m originally an engineer but pivoted into consulting, where I still am today. I love my job, but lately I’ve been contemplating how to navigate both motherhood and a career.
In my free time, I thrive reviewing our family budget sheet, watching action thriller movies with my husband, and taking quiet, reflective—sometimes prayerful—strolls around the neighborhood. My simple joys in life include a hot, savory breakfast and coffee, soaking in the morning sunrays peeking through the blinds, and being outside in perfect 68 degree weather.
